Sleepovers

Lynette and Stef open the show this week by blowing off some steam in the criticism they’ve faced for their social media plugs. Then Lynette talks about Natalia’s first upcoming sleep over. After the girls go over their Mothers Day experiences, Lynette geeks out over her new favorite hunk actor. Before they wrap, Stef shows a fan video that made her week, and the ladies quickly discuss their feelings about True Tori.

  1. Kelli Hull says:

I swear you are my long lost sisters. Seriously. I can NOT understand for the life of me some of these comments that people make. Especially the ones that start off saying I’ve never listened to this show but…OMG seriously? I love the show and between the 2 of you and Adam, I’m all Carolla all the time. Not that there’s anything wrong with it.

  2. American Girl dolls: Stefanie, kids will definitely get into the historical dolls if they read the books first. The books are just wonderful for girls in the 7-11 year range and teach a lot about history. When I was younger I babysat a girl who loved the books and got quite a few of the historical dolls and played with them often. Although you’re right, she didn’t want the Addy doll, lol. I think kids just like dolls that they can identify with, and there’s not a lot of black families who can afford those dolls, I guess. Did you know that recently they came out with a Jewish doll and her books? Not sure what the theme of it is, but perhaps that’d be something to consider for your girls to learn about their heritage? I think she’s from the early 1900s or so.

  3. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it
to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put
the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely
off topic but I had to tell someone!
